The first spaniel came into my life when I was 2 and I’ve been in love with spaniels ever since, but over the years I’ve had a variety of dogs.  Dogs aren’t the only animals in my life as cats, horses, hamsters and rabbits have also been a huge part of it and currently I have 4 dogs, 1 cat and 1 pony to share my life with and they are as much a part of my family as the humans are.  Having spent the last 24 years of my life working for the NHS, I decided on my retirement from there that it was time to do something that I’d longed to do for years and that was to volunteer and hopefully work for Oak Tree, which I am now lucky enough to do.
