Fundraising Officer

My first experience with Oak Tree was when my husband and I adopted our beautiful cat Luna in February 2023. The team was incredibly helpful in our search for our fur baby. We were so impressed with the team’s knowledge, love and understanding of all the animals in their care. Each team member could talk about each rescue animals’ own personality, needs and traits. 

We had problems with Luna earlier this year and we were stuck with how to help her. The Small Animals team were unbelievable helpful with providing vitamins, urinary vet cat food and a spare litter tray as we were struggling financially at the time. They couldn’t have done enough to help us and withheld any judgement towards our situation at the time. 

When I saw there was a position available in the fundraising department, I jumped at the chance. I still can’t believe I work here. I’m finally in my dream job. I don’t plan on leaving until I retire. This is where I’m supposed to be, helping animals who rightly deserve our love, affection and care.
