Trustee

I’m a freelance graphic designer with twenty years industry experience, working primarily with national clients in the non-profit, education and health and social care sectors. 
 
Cumbrian-born and bred, I'm lucky enough to live within walking distance of Oak Tree Animals’ Charity. I’m a regular visitor to the wonderful Tearoom and playground with my two young girls and our giant black Labrador, Captain Monkey. 
 
Over the past decade, our family has witnessed Oak Tree going from strength to strength, developing several areas of the site and reaching out further into the community with their incredible team of staff and volunteers. 
 
I am a firm believer that the welfare of animals and their humans is intrinsically linked. If we strive to understand and protect the needs of animals – and their owners – the rewards are mutually beneficial at both individual and community levels. 
 
I am absolutely honoured and delighted to join the Board of Trustees at Oak Tree. I’m looking forward to supporting the amazing team in continuing to improve animal welfare in our region, for many years to come.
