Dogs die in hot cars

If you are going shopping on a sunny day, please do not leave your dog in a hot car.


Did you know:

• A car can become an oven incredibly quickly. Even if you leave the windows open, a dog can die in a hot car in under 20 minutes.

What to do:

• If you see a dog in a car on a hot day, please dial 999.

The Law:

If you leave your dog in a hot car on a hot day you may be prosecuted. This can include a fine of up to £20,000 and up to 6 months in prison.
