Mayor's Committee Fundraisers 2021-2022
We would like to say a huge "Thank You" to The Mayor's Committee who raised more than £5,000 for Oak Tree!
Carlisle City Councillor Pam Birks has been appointed the Mayor of Carlisle for 2021-2022. Councillor Birks has taken on the Mayoral role after serving two years as Deputy Mayor to former Mayor, Cllr Marilyn Bowman. We are delighted that Councillor Birks has chosen Oak Tree as one of her charities to support during her term as Mayor. The Mayor's Committee are putting together a programme of fantastic fundraisers to generate much needed funds for Oak Tree and Carlisle Mind (the other charity being supported during her term).
All proceeds made as a result of these events listed below will be split 50:50 between Oak Tree and Carlisle Mind. We would like to sincerely thank Councillor Birks for choosing to support Oak Tree - all the money raised will make a significant difference to animals in need.
