Description

Hedwig is a handsome 14 month old cat who is looking for a rather special home this winter. He was surrendered to us along with several other cats through no fault of his own.

We found that he was struggling to cope in our cattery and though would approach after a number of weeks, would hiss and swipe out of fear. He has now been in one of our wonderful foster homes to get the 1-1 attention he deserves. He's made such good progress that we now feel he is ready for viewings. Hedwig could potentially live with a single other cat depending on successful scent transfers.

Flying in with an update, our fosterer has this to say about Hedwig: "He's even more comfortable now, he's just recently started to sleep on the bed with me at night which is nice, and he loves sitting on my lap (though he won't jump up himself for some reason). He's become very affectionate - basically a normal cat really. I've identified his favourite toy too - ping pong balls. He can't get enough of them! That and his tail - I've never seen a cat chase its own tail before but he loves it".

Please get in touch if you wish to know more about this gorgeous boy and feel like you could offer him a home.

WE HAVE MORE CATS IN NEED

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our cats looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
