Description

These girls are around 8 months old, they can be nervous of new things and people but are really starting to come out their shell. We believe all four girls have the potential to blossom into affectionate cats if given a little time and patience by potential adopters. These four girls would love a quiet home with ideally with some outside access.

Aria (Grey Tortie) is the most confident and loves a chin scratch, she enjoys spending time outside watching the birds or weaving around your legs for attention. Her bestie Spencer (Dark Ginger Tortie) likes to be near you and will come straight over but is slightly wary of being stroked, she will have a good sniff of you first then when she is ready she will rub her head on you to let you know you are allowed to stroke her. Aria and spencer could be homed together.

Emily (Calico) is starting to appreciate a fuss but similar to Spencer it has to be on her terms, once she has found you worthy of stroking her she will bump her head against your hand to you to let you know. Hanna (Light Ginger Tortie) is the most reserved and is often found sat behind Emily, she relies on Emily to test out the world first. she has started accepting a couple head scratches but will move away once she has had enough. Due to their closeness and the confidence Hanna finds in Emily we would like these two to be homed as a pair.

The Pretty little liars have the potential to live with another cat depending on successful scent transfers and older children depending on successful meetings here at Oak Tree.

CATIOS. Have you considered getting a cat but are worried about them getting lost or injured on roads? Have you ever heard of Catio's? They provide an outdoor space, normally attached to your house, so that your cat can have safe outdoor time. They can be as simple or elaborate as your budget allows. Just Google CATIOS for more information. Or check out our partner ProtectaPet at www.protectapet.com for cat fence barriers, enclosures and catios.   Use the promo code OAKTREE for a discount for you and a donation to Oak Tree.

WE HAVE MORE CATS IN NEED

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our cats looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
