Description
Adventurous Ace!
This stunning boy is all kinds of amazing! At only 14 month old (estimated), Ace is keen to learn all about the world he lives in and isn't afraid to stick his nose into training sessions. Ace came to us after being abandoned however, since being with us this bouncy boy has learnt a lot while becoming more and more affectionate each day.
Ace is on the skinny/small side for a German shepherd at around 22kg but he is a high energy boy. Ideally he needs someone with experience of large working breeds who will understand the potential of guarding within this breed. Although Ace has not shown any guarding behaviour while in our care, anyone enquiring should be aware this could change.
Ace would love someone with an active lifestyle, no young children (16+) and to be the only pet so he can have the best possible start to a new life as continuous training will be needed.
Updates
Ace has been going through a lot of training recently! We have been focusing on his door manners as he finds an open door exciting. He is smashing it! He is also enjoying lots of training games to help him with his loose lead walking and impulse control, he is a very quick learner with a huge need to impress you!

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
