Description
**LUNA IS STILL BEING ASSESSED SO SOME INFORMATION BELOW MAY CHANGE**
Met Luna, a beautiful girl who is looking for her special home. She is a German Shepherd aged almost 4 years. She has lived with her family since she was a puppy, including with young children, but her family reluctantly feel that she would be happier in a different home environment.
Luna is well behaved and chilled out within the home. She is housetrained, and can be left for periods of the day. She enjoys having attention from her family, and is very playful. Luna enjoys going for walks. She used to go for off lead runs on a deserted beach, which she loved.
Luna is not a fan of other dogs and can be quite reactive on a lead when she sees them. She will bark and pull towards them. Her handlers will need to be capable of walking a strong dog. Due to this, we are not homing her with other dogs.
Luna can be anxious in some situations and takes a while to bond with new people. Once she feels you are part of her family, she will be your friend for life. Potential adopters will need to visit Luna a few times to build up a rapport with her.
Luna would love a rural home with an owner who has time to dedicate to her. She will be an amazing companion in the right home.
**Luna is still being assessed but we welcome initial enquiries so please fill in our questionnaire (link below her photos) to start the process.**

WE HAVE MORE DOGS IN NEED
On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our dogs looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
