Lovely Norma is a 6 year old German Wire Haired Pointer x Braco Italian . 

This girl has the sweetest nature and has so much love to give. She is a real social butterfly and gives the best cuddles and I am talking full on paws on shoulder cuddles! Norma is gentle, intelligent and playful. She will happily play independently, whether that is madly shaking a toy around and then de-stuffing it or play with you in a game of tug. 

With both breeds of gundog origin, we are looking for someone who has some understanding of gundogs and can meet her needs in relation to this. She is an active lady and though mostly walks nicely on the lead, can be strong at times. When off-lead, re-call is generally good but does need improving around distracting wildlife. 

Norma travels well, can live with children, is housetrained and can be left alone for up to 2 hours. We would recommend however that time alone is built up during the settling in period.

We are still dog testing her but at the moment, believe she could live with another dog dependent on successful dog meetings on-site. Norma is currently not neutered as she is due her season soon so she cannot live with entire males. Any adopter will be asked to sign a clause agreeing that Norma will be neutered at a future date agreed by Oak Tree
