Description
Benji is ready and looking to find a home as a companion pony! Benji has a genuine nature and has been a companion for many of our Oak Tree arrivals. He has shown to become quite protective over mares when turned out together, we have found he can be turned out well with mares or geldings, but not a mixed herd.
He travels well and accepts being groomed. He can be nervous with a new farrier however, when given time to settle into his new home he relaxes. One to one training and help can be given once Benji was rehomed.
Benji is a Dartmoor Pony and a good doer, meaning he will require strict monitoring of his turn out routine. This will prevent him becoming overweight and furthermore prevent the risk of laminitis.
