Meet our beautiful cob mare Kinder Bueno!

Kinder might be only 12hh but she is full of character! Kinder came to us last year as a very nervous pony and over the past few months has grown in confidence. 

Kinder enjoys a groom and fuss and would stand all day to be pampered. She is good to bath, have her feet picked out, is fine with the vet, easy to catch and lead. Although Kinder is fine to have her legs handled she is still sometimes wary of the farrier and does require a calm and confident handler to reassure her. 

Kinder has recently been backed and is proving to be very willing and easy going. She has been ridden in walk, trot and canter and is a forward going pony. Kinder does not like the arena and can nap at times when ridden independently ,however, she loves to hack out and will lead or follow behind. Kinder has also been ridden in open spaces and is not strong or excitable. Kinder is quite a small pony so would only be suitable for children to ride.

We feel Kinder would benefit from a home where hacking is the main activity. Although she can nap when ridden in the arena she is absolutely fine when on a lead rein and will walk, trot, go over poles etc. 

As Kinder is a cob she would require her new home to manage her weight carefully to prevent obesity. Currently she is stabled overnight and turned out during the day. She has also lived out 24/7 but her grazing would need restricting to prevent her putting on too much weight. Kinder has lived with both mares and geldings and gets on well with both.
