Meet Saffron!

Saffron is a stunning black yearling with a friendly nature. She's good to catch, groom and bath. When Saffron first arrived she was very wary of new people but now she loves to be the centre of attention! She has grown in confidence with the vet and farrier and will happily stand for both.

Although Saffron has a very laid back personality that enjoys human interaction, she does not like overexcited children and has previously tried to bite them.

Saffron is happy to live with mares and geldings of all different sizes. Currently Saffron is stabled overnight but is equally happy to live out 24/7 with a suitable shelter, however, she is a good doer so would require careful management.

On average, we have 400 animals come into our shelter every year. Please take a look at some of our horses and ponies looking for loving homes and see if you can find a friend for life. Where appropriate, all of our animals are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We also give each animal a behavioural assessment to identify their needs and help you find your perfect companion.
