Meet Wispa, our stunning cob! 

Wispa has been out to several local inhand shows where she has excelled, placing a couple of times, and getting good comments from the judges. She has proven calm in the show ring, so could be shown by a junior.

She is good to groom, bath, and pick out her feet. She tolerates having her feathers brushed and washed using positive reinforcement. Wispa is good for the vet. She sometimes struggles with the farrier but has massively improved through clicker training, and is making improvements with each visit.

Wispa enjoys long-reining around our site and local area to keep fit.

She is a good doer so needs restricted grazing, she happily wears a grazing muzzle when turned out. Wispa suffers from choke so must have any hard feed soaked before feeding, she can manage a small handful of pony nuts when training. She also has some scarring on her sides from the neglect that she suffered before she came to Oak Tree, although this has not caused her any pain since being in our care.

Wispa gets on well with both mares and geldings, big or small. She is currently turned out during the day and stabled overnight. Wispa thrives with regular handling.

Due to a previous injury, Wispa must be rehomed as a non-ridden companion.
