It’s that time of year again where animal owners and lovers worry about the fear that fireworks bring to their much-loved pet. Sadly, we know that 1 in 2 dogs, 1 in 3 cats and 4 out of 5 horses are scared of fireworks and this brings significant stress both to animal and owner.
This year we are running a campaign through October and early November to help reduce the number of private fireworks displays by encouraging people to ditch the bang and instead donate to help animals in our region; #DontMakeANoiseMakeADifference! We will also be providing a range of educational information to help pet owners support their pets during this period. You will see posters, social media messaging and banners across all of our platforms and we need your help spread the word.
